Experience:
Sam Winn is the Owner and Founder of Sam A. Winn & Associates Architects, P.C. After graduating from Missouri State University in 1965, Sam made the courageous decision to join the United States Army. He served in Germany for two years as a Captain in the U.S. Corps of Engineers Active Service. After his service, Sam came back to Springfield, Missouri and started working full-time for Joe Amspacher & Associates. In 1977, Sam became owner of the firm and established Sam A. Winn & Associates Architects, P.C., which became a professional corporation in 1994. As Owner, President, and Architect, he is involved in master planning, budget proposals, funding guidance, design and development, construction administration, and overall project administration including client satisfaction which he has been doing for over 40 years on over 1,000 projects.

When Sam has a free moment, he loves to travel. He has been to many places outside the United States, as in: Bahamas, Mexico, Europe, Italy, France, Belgium, Austria, Holland, Spain, and Canada. Sam hopes to visit more places, especially St. Barts.
